  • How to set up folding chairs?--YONGYE FURNITURE
General Guidelines Folding chairs are 18 inches across. When placing the chairs in rows, leave 2 inches of space between chairs. Leave ample space between rows of chairs for people to move. Movie theaters use 36 inches of space from the back of a row of chairs to the backs of the chairs in the row behind. Apply a similar formula to space the rows with 18 inches of space from the front of the opened chair to the back of the chair in front. This, added to the 18-inch depth of folding chairs, equals 36 inches for each row. Table Spacing Folding chairs are narrower than the traditional 20-inch-wide dining chairs, but you still use the same number of folding chairs around a table as dining chairs. Setting up chairs around a dining table is based on the table space between the plates, if the chair width allows. Provide 24 inches from the center of one plate to the center of the dinner plate on both sides. This spacing gives the diner plenty of elbow room at the table. The center of the folding chair should align with the middle of the plate, so the spacing from the center of one chair to the next is 24 inches. Allow at least 2 feet behind each chair for the person to comfortably push the chair back to leave the table. Folding Chair Height and Tables When you use folding chairs as substitute dining chairs, the seats are lower to the ground compared to traditional dining seats. Most dining tables have a surface 30 inches above the floor. Dining chairs are built with a seat 17 inches off the ground, but the 15-inch-high seat of folding chairs will feel uncomfortably low at a regular dining table. Use a lower table or add thick cushions to the folding chairs to raise the seat height by 2 inches. The cushions also make the chairs more comfortable.

  • 6 steps to repair resin chairs--YONGYE FURNITURE
    1. Clean the resin chair around the broken or cracked area with a degreasing cleaner and a soft cloth. Allow the area to dry before proceeding. 2. Remove any flaking parts or pieces that are damaged with a sharp craft knife. Reserve any larger pieces to fit back into place. Dispose of small pieces. 3. Mix the two parts of the epoxy resin together until they are a uniform color. Apply the epoxy to the cracked area. Push the broken pieces together for about one minute. 4. Use a putty knife to scrape away excess epoxy before it dries. Press a texture tool into the surface of the epoxy to give it texture. This may be necessary in the case of textured resin chairs, such as artificial wicker. Allow the epoxy to harden for 24 hours. 5. Use sandpaper to smooth the resin if the chair does not need texture. The sandpaper can help blend the epoxy in with the original resin of the chair to create a seamless line between the original resin and the new epoxy. 6. Paint the resin with an outdoor paint if desired to hide the epoxy repair.

  • The history and uses of folding chair--YONGYE FURNITURE
Uses Folding chairs are generally used for seating in areas where permanent seating is not possible or practical. This includes outdoor and indoor events such as funerals, college graduations, religious services, and sporting events and competitions. They are often used as weapons in professional wrestling. Folding chairs are also used in the home for any situation requiring extra seating. This includes parties, card games, and temporary seating at the dinner table. Some folding chairs are rocking chairs as well. History Folding chairs were already being used in Viking Sweden, Ancient Egypt, Greece and Rome. The frame was mostly made of wood, and seldom made of metal. The wood was inlaid with artistic carvings, gilded, and decorated with ivory. In Northern Europe, the remains of more than 18 folding chairs are known dating back to the Nordic Bronze Age such as the Daensen folding chair. The folding chair became especially widespread during the Middle Ages. It was treasured as a liturgical furniture piece. Since the 15th and 16th centuries the folding chair has mostly had arm and head rests. Of course, newer chairs which are often found in functions and events are also called folding chairs. The folding chairs were very easy to use and bring to different places such as parties or family gatherings. In the United States, an early patent for a folding chair was by John Cham in 1855. In 1947, Fredric Arnold created the first aluminum folding chair with fabric strapping for the seat and back. By 1957, the Fredric Arnold Company of Brooklyn, New York, was manufacturing more than 14,000 chairs per day. Today, the folding chair is mostly made of hard plastic or metal or wood. Folding chairs can be divided into different categories. Article From https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Folding_chair
